CLUB MEETINGS: The next WV Track club meeting is scheduled for 7:00 PM on February 6, 2012 at Pizza Hut in Sabraton. Officer elections will take place.
RAIL TRAIL UPDATE:
Temporary Reopening of Caperton Trail mile 8.5
The Morgantown Utility Board has put down a temporary gravel trail at mile 8.5 between the Seneca Center and the WVU Core Arboretum. This will open the trail temporarily until a company is hired to stabilize the pipelines and is ready to start a permanent repair. The trail should be open by this evening, Friday September 23.
Mudslide at mile 12 Mon River Trail south
The mudslide at mile 12 between city limits and Uffington is still active with mud, rocks, and debris coming off the mountainside. The trail has been cleared and but it remains a very muddy and rough trail in this area.
